Peer Selection Criteria

  1. Professional expertise – artists and arts professionals who perform a variety of different professional roles in the arts that are relevant to the category and have acceptability in the industry. The below factors should be considered while selecting a peer:
    • is recognised in their field by their peers.
    • have strong arts sector connections and networks.
    • is familiar with the ACT arts and cultural sector.
  2. Arts experience: Artform experience or expertise across one or more of the following areas: arts administration, community arts, dance, festivals, music, screen and digital games, theatre, visual arts, writing; reflected in current or previous employment in the arts and/or cultural sector in the ACT and/or interstate. Consider:
    • The length experience: emerging, mid-career or established artists.
    • The uniqueness of their experience.
Must be no more than 350 words. Include any experience you have in assessment processes or your relevant artform experience.
